The Pulse Beam was an illegal scan featured in Metroid: Avenger. This beam was once a top project for the federation. It's main objective was to make a new weapon, exclusive to the GF. It was an air based weapon, capable of charged waves of hurricane force winds blasting much away, or extremely thin shots of crescent-moon shaped air that was capable of slicing any known alloy, but so thinly that you would not notice unless the object shot was cut in half and fell into pieces. It was made illegal because GF Traitors used it to open doors that they did not belong in. This weapon has since been labelled illegal, and because of that it has been locked away in hte ytmess fo Hstago.
